Angry viking press

So it seems as though I am going to be doing some color work for Angry Viking press.

Just small things for the moment :) but hopefully it turns into something awesome :)

Becuase of this I am also reposting some stuff that other artists have posted already XD

"Ok so Next month is Angry Viking Press' Big debut Month. We will be in the hew "comics" Catalog by Haven ( and Enemi ). With your fan support we at Angry Viking Press can and will bring you comics from artists you know here on FA and around the net. However again it can only happen with your support.

Since the New catalog from Haven and Enemi will also debut in May, many comic shops don't know of it yet. A shop can't order what they don't know. This is where your support and help comes in. If you buy your comics in stores, go to your local comic shop and let them know about Angry Viking Press, and also let them know about Haven/Enemi. The new Catalog features a cover by Neal Adams (major artists for the 70's era style of art on Batman, Superman and Green Lantern)

In May we will have a small launch with 3 Titles focusing on Andorozon #1, Coco Gun Bun#1, and Demon Mages #1. If that launch succeeds it will be fallowed by 2nd issues of the titles just mentioned, and a Revamped Crushed #1, Speed Demonz #1, Babes of the Beach #1 (with #2 to fallow) and the long awaited return of Extintioners with Extintioners #16 in full color. Colors are being done by Sonic Artist/Colorist Matt Herms. (HE IS AWESOME-ed)

With your support we look to launch in September 2 Specials with Babes of the Beach #2(Sci-Fi) Ebony Furs, as well as our core titles released in May and July.

Also in the Future we plan to release Former Sonic Artist Jeff (Jay) Axer's Graphic Novel and the Return of Chisuji. With the potential for much much more down the road like Stellor Warriors, Striker Amazon, and Ronzo Murphy(Shownuff)'s Squeek and Shred and others I can not yet (but would sooo love) to mention.

So go on and help get the word out at your comic shop to order the Enemi Catalog, or make an order yourself and make yours Angry Viking Press!"

PLEASE PLEASE do so!!! Every little bit helps :)

Mountain Dew Review! Throwback vs Regular!

I have decided to do this the right way.

I am addicted to mountain dew. As such, I am a connoisseur of it. From store bought… to canned, to what you get at restaurants. When I heard about mountain dew Throwback I was THRILLED. And when I say thrilled I mean I had a conniption over it like most Girls fawn over whatever the latest Hollywood boy toy is. I LOVE MOUNTAIN DEW THAT MUCH.

That being said, I want to compare the Current Limited run “Mountain dew throwback” To the normal “Mountain dew”

The first thing is the labels.

The ingredients difference alone is enough to raise eyebrows. Besides the obvious “Suger” In place of the “High Frucose corn Syrup” there are other differences too.

Throwback has this for a list of ingredients: Carbonated Water, Sugar, Citric acid, Natural and artificial flavor, sodium Benzoate, Caffeine, Gum Arabic, Brominated Vegetable oil, and yellow 5

Regular has this: Carbonated water, High fructose corn syrup Concentrated orange juice and other natural flavors, Citric acid, Sodium benzoate, Caffeine, Sodium citrate, Gum Arabic, Erythorbic acid, Calcium disodium, Brominated vegetable oil, and Yellow 5.

What the hell is all that stuff in the regular?

Anyway, moving on, Throwback has less carbs, less sodium, and in general… less of the icky stuff. Still has a few icky things, but those are unavoidable.

The smell test.

I smelled Throwback first, then regular. Then I set them down, and smelled the Regular again after a while, and then the throwback. Smell is one of the most important factors in taste, so being as you want the regular product to sell you would want it to smell good… right… RIGHT?!

Throwback smells better hands down. It smells juicy and fruity. It smells clean. It doesn’t have any sort of tang that would suggest anything bad about it.

Regular smells ok, but unlike throwback you get an almost salty after smell that reminds me both of a beach and a swimming pool. It doesn’t smell right, it doesn’t smell like something I would want in my system actually (This is the first time I have sat down to digest the smell and smell alone)

So far… Throwback 2, Regular 0….

Now for the big one… THE TASTE TEST!!!!!!

Both of these are starting on even ground. With both I have ingested Dry roasted peanuts before and after to clear the palate (I know dry roasted peanuts but I had to have some even ground here XD)

I decided to do the regular first because I know what it tastes like. Tastes ok, sweet, syrupy, with that hint of citris.

And now for the Throwback. MUCH MUCH Sweeter tasting… and not as syrupy. Also… not as salty??? What the heck… Apparently the regular has more salt in it to play up the “Sweetness” of the corn syrup. Honestly… When I am able to taste SALT ontop of Salted Dry roasted penuts... there is a BIG issue.

Pepsi… if you find this… and read it… DEAR GOD PLEASE DON’T GET RID OF THIS.
